  • Day 1

    Flight to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul. Transfer to your accommodation. Boat trip on the Bosphorus.

  • Day 2

    Haghia Sophia (Byzantine church) & Kariye Camii (Byzantine frescoes). Archaeological Museum (Roman & Hellenistic sculpture). Turkish Dance Night.

  • Day 3

    The Blue Mosque (Imperial Mosque). Topkapi Palace (Islamic and Chinese collections). Farewell group meal.

  • Day 4

    Explore the Spice Bazaar. Return flight to the UK. Arrive in the UK.

  • Suleymaniye Mosque, built by architect Mimar Sinan, is one of the biggest mosques in the city. The mosque was completed in 1557, as tribute to Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, and took eight years to built.
  • Kariye Museum is a medieval Byzantine Greek Orthodox church where students can discover enchanting mosaics of Christianity.
  • Istanbul has become one of the world's contemporary art hubs. The Istanbul Modern Museum, was the first private art museum to open in Turkey and houses contemporary art works with a focus on Turkish artists.
  • Dolmabahce Palace served as the main administrative centre of the Ottoman empire. This historic palace is certainly one of the most opulent of buildings in Turkey and is well worth a visit.
  • The Galata Tower, one of the main symbols of Istanbul, this medieval viewing tower offers breathtaking views of the city.
