Sample itinerary

  • Day 1

    Flight to Gdansk. Meet the welcome rep and transfer to accommodation. Visit the WWII Museum to discover the ‘Road to War’.

  • Day 2

    Visit to the European Solidarity Centre and the Gdansk Shipyard, including ‘The Birth of Solidarity’ workshop.

  • Day 3

    Meet a Solidarity member to hear about the strikes and life under Communist rule and visit the Cold War Museum in Podborsko.

  • Day 4

    Visit the ‘underground city’ in Swinoujscie on Wolin Island. Once a secret military shelter with 1km of corridors and rooms. Transfer for return evening flight.
