Sample itinerary

  • Day 1

    Flight to Vienna. Free afternoon in Vienna to explore the city.

  • Day 2

    Morning Vienna walking tour. Afternoon visit to the Museum of Military History where students can learn about the history of the Habsburg dynasty right up until its collapse in 1918, including an area devoted to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

  • Day 3

    Coach to Budapest (3.5 hours). Visit the Hungarian National Museum which illustrates the history of the country through extensive exhibitions.

  • Day 4

    Morning Budapest city tour and visit to Buda Castle Royal Palace and the Budapest History museum for unbeatable views and exhibits on the history of the city. Return to the UK.
