  • The City of Arts and Sciences is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex. It is the most important modern tourist destinations in the city and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain.
  • The Oceanographic is an oceanarium situated in the east of Valencia. It was designed by the architect Félix Candela and the structural engineers were Alberto Domingo and Carlos Lázaro. It is integrated inside the City of Arts and Sciences.
  • Most of Valencia Cathedral was built between the 13th century and the 15th century, therefore its style is mainly Gothic. However, as the construction went on for centuries there is a mixture of artistic styles, ranging from the early Romanesque, Valencian Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical.
  • The public market is located in Central Spain. The modernist building was designed in 1914 and consists of a ground floor with columns and vaults with a brick base and a basement. Both floors are organised into straight alleys, crossed by two main lanes where 959 stalls are set.
